About Chief Financial Officers

A CFO, or Chief Financial Officer is the person in charge of a business’ money and financial matters. Richard Power held the title of CFO in his professional career. A chief financial officer is the one who oversees and approves the transactions of cash inflow and cash outflow. In some cases, a chief financial officer will also do reports and manage payroll. In some jobs, they are simply put in a supervisory role. Chief financial officers typically hold the responsibility for financial matters to a corporation’s board of directors, which makes oversight and solid direction an important part of the job. The main goal of any CFO is to ensure that a corporation is both profitable and savvy with the money. They must understand tax obligations, monitoring necessary expenses, and look for new forms of investment. This position involves a lot of careful bookkeeping and records analysis.
